How long does the pathway training take?Depending on what pathway you select, training generally takes between 4-8 months. You are able to do most of the training at your own pace and can do this without quitting your current employment as it is delivered online. However, you will need to participate in a minimum of 10 classroom sessions and if you elect to register for an international job placement, you will need to attend practical vocational training as well for approximately 7 days
-
Can I just register to do the paid international job placement?Yes. But we recommend undertaking the Pathway of Life Education in order to be successful - our employers will prefer people who have done the training and you will be much better prepared to live and work in a country like Canada if you do all the Modules first. However, if you can meet all the requirements of the employer and other criteria for immigration selection, then we are happy to refer you to our employers without having to undertake any Pathway training.
-
Am I eligible for doing the Pathway training?Yes. Anyone who lives in Thailand, Vietnam or Cambodia and wants to undertake our Pathway(s) is eligible. Our training is competency based - so even if there are some areas that you struggle with, we will help and support you so that you can complete all the Modules.
-
Can I change my job when I go another country?Yes - but you would need to follow all the applicable conditions that would apply under the law and legislation of the country where you are wanting to work. Basically, you would need to complete the entire Work Permit and/or Visa process again.
-
What if I change my mind after registering for Pathway training? Can I get a refund? You can cancel your pathway training within the first 14 days of registration and you will be given a full refund of the training fee.

Is jobready today able to represent me for immigration matters? No. We are not legally able to represent you or act on your behalf regarding any part of the applicable immigration process. However, part of our training is to better prepare you for applying for a Work Permit and/or Visa.
-
What do I need to have in order to apply for a Work Permit or Visa for my job placement? We need to make sure we are able to refer you confidently to an employer regarding the probability of you being issued with a valid Work Permit and/or Visa. Therefore, applicants will need all of the following: Passport with 2 years validity National ID Card or certificate Household Registration Marriage Certificate (where applicable) Education Certificates Birth Certificates (of any children you have) Work references Police Clearance Certificate Health Check Biometrics data CV or Resume No previous immigration offences Evidence to support your return to your home country after your job placement finishes. Jobready today has no control over the decisions made by Canadian, Irish or other immigration departments but will help you with information that will increase your chances of being issued positive documentation for travel to your hosted job placement country.
-
Am I able to stay in the country where I will be working after my Work Contracts finishes?NO. It would be an offense for you to stay unless your Visa permitted you to do so. So we advise you to return to your home country as per Immigration Law. We also advise strongly that you do not breach any conditions of your Visa (e.g. running away) as this will ultimately get you into serious trouble with the local authorities of the country you are working (including the police/possible detention) and it will make it very difficult for you to successfully apply for Visas for other countries in the future.
-
Can I choose what type of work I want to do in another country?Yes, of course. We will present you with different types of jobs and you may choose a job that you think you would enjoy and be good at.
-
Will I be able to have a preference for a particular country to work?Yes. However, we would prefer you to be open to any country that we may have an opportunity in because you may need to wait longer if we offer you a job in a certain country and you refuse.
-
When will I know if I have been offered an international job placement? Some employers will want to receive your application and even interview you, either individually or as part of a group, but in most cases, employers will accept the people referred by jobready today without going through this process. We will notify you very quickly as to whether an employer has accepted you as a new employee or not (subject to Immigration and other Government approvals).
